Duties: Help to define business intelligence measurement approach for Audible ’s top of funnel. Identify relevant behavioral, financial, and competitive data sources and leverage best practice analytical methodologies, including creating and instrumenting the right KPI framework to enable measurement. Consistently deliver accurate and insightful analysis, driving high-quality decision making within business, and earning trust with business stakeholders. Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and other BI tools to enable on-demand insights for the business. Complete ad hoc / deep dive analysis as needed to help drive business decision making in an agile manner. Collaborate effectively with other teams within GIDS, including partnering with teams focused on the immediate impact of marketing actions, with the goal of understanding how short-term performance and long-term brand building work together to drive business outcomes. Communicate clearly, translating complex problems into simplified, relevant outputs that can be quickly understood and actioned by both technical and non-technical audiences. Participate in the broader company insights community, sharing and leveraging best practices and new analytical approaches. Position reports into New York office; however, telecommuting from a home office may be allowed.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or a directly related field plus two (2) years of experience as a Business Intelligence Engineer or a related occupation involving experience in an analytical field such as Marketing Analytics, Business Intelligence , Management Consulting, or Research.
Experience may be gained concurrently and must include one (1) year in each of the following:
Utilizing SQL, Python, R, or similar programming language, for data collection and analysis
Developing BI reports using Tableau or a similar data visualization tool
Utilizing quantitative survey research methodologies, A/B testing, or another form of experimentation, financial brand valuation, or brand competitive analysis
Delivering on projects with diverse stakeholders
Collaborating effectively with teams to successfully plan and execute analytical projects, and communicate complex results and data-driven insights to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders
Utilizing GenAI tool
Quickly adopting new technologies and tools

Salary: $109,500 - $185,000 / year. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
