The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for preparing and delivering business intelligence (BI) analyses, dashboards, and reports for key stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making. This role gathers reporting requirements, extracts and analyzes data from multiple systems, ensures data quality, and develops meaningful insights using standardized reporting practices and analytical tools. The analyst collaborates with business and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather business and reporting requirements from stakeholders and translate them into analytical solutions and recurring reports.
Extract, cleanse, validate, and analyze data from operational systems, reporting databases, and data warehouses to generate actionable insights.
Perform quality assurance on data and analytical outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of conclusions.
Select appropriate analytical methods, reporting techniques, and visualization approaches based on business needs and problem statements.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using globally standardized BI practices.
Deliver recurring reports and ad hoc analyses accurately and within defined timelines.
Build and enhance analytical models to support decision-making across business functions.
Partner with senior BI analysts, business leaders, and stakeholders to clarify business requirements and reporting objectives.
Communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
