We operate at the intersection of startups and investors, enabling efficient deal flow and capital access in a fast-evolving ecosystem.Location: On-site (Electronic City, Bangalore)Employment Type: Full-Time Role OverviewAs an BDE Startup Deal Sourcing, you will be responsible for end-to-end deal origination, including lead generation, founder engagement, qualification, and onboarding startups for fundraising mandates. This role combines investment banking exposure with high-impact sales execution, making it ideal for candidates looking to build careers in investment banking, venture capital, or startup advisory. Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Deal Origination
- Generate high-quality startup leads through LinkedIn, databases, cold outreach, referrals, and ecosystem networks
- Build and manage a consistent pipeline of early-stage and growth-stage startups
- Identify decision-makers (founders/CXOs) and initiate outreach via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp
- Develop and execute outbound strategies to drive startup onboardingFounder Engagement & Deal Qualification
- Engage with founders to understand their business model, traction, and funding requirements
- Evaluate startups based on scalability, market opportunity, and investor fit
- Conduct initial screening calls and qualify startups for fundraising readiness
- Pitch capitalCORNs fundraising and advisory services effectivelyStartup Onboarding & Conversion
- Drive end-to-end conversion from lead to signed mandate
- Handle onboarding of startups, including data collection and documentation
- Align founders on fundraising strategy, expectations, and timelinesRelationship Management & Revenue Growth
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with founders and ecosystem stakeholders
- Maintain CRM systems, lead trackers, and pipeline reports
- Consistently follow up with prospects to drive conversions
- Contribute directly to revenue targets and deal closures
Skills & Competencies Required
- Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills
- Confidence in interacting with founders, CXOs
- Strong understanding of:Startup ecosystemFunding stages (Pre-seed to Series A/B)Business models and growth metricsSales-oriented mindset with high ownership and accountability
