Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role based in New Delhi, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. The Business Development (Pharmaceuticals Translation Projects) specialist will identify, qualify, and nurture leads in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors, focusing on translation and documentation needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching target companies, building prospect lists, conducting outreach via email, phone, and professional networks, and scheduling product demos or discovery calls. The role involves coordinating closely with the product and operations teams to understand client requirements, prepare proposals, and support contract closures. The specialist will also maintain an organized pipeline, track activity in CRM or tracking tools, gather market feedback, and suggest improvements to positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategies. Qualifications - Strong Lead Generation and Market Research skills to identify, prioritize, and qualify pharmaceutical and life sciences prospects. - Excellent Communication and Customer Service abilities to engage stakeholders, manage expectations, and maintain long-term relationships. - Solid Analytical Skills to assess opportunities, interpret market signals, and support data-driven decision-making. - Prior experience or strong interest in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, clinical research, or regulated documentation is highly beneficial. - Familiarity with translation, localization, or SaaS products is an advantage. - Comfort using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and productivity software to manage pipelines and reporting. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Ability to work independently in a hybrid setup, manage time effectively, and meet targets without close supervision.
