Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you execute sales & service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Delivers quality customer service to satisfy customers.
The work model for the role is: #Li-Onsite.
This role is contributing to the ABB India, Smart Power. Electrification Business as Business Development Specialist for UPS Products - North India for FARIDABAD Region, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead-generation methods to expand the customer base and increase revenue growth.
- Build and maintain close relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Secure product approvals from leading Project Management Consultants, Electrical Consultants, and Architects across North India to penetrate key segments such as IT, ITES, Data Centers, and Healthcare.
- Lead the North Zone sales team, analyze market trends and competitor strategies, and leverage effective communication, technical knowledge of UPS products, and business acumen to grow regional sales aggressively.
Qualifications for the role:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the UPS industry, with deep knowledge of the North India UPS market and key industry segments.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business leads through cold calling, networking, and field campaigns to expand market presence.
