Business Development Cum Merchandiser (Domestic Market)

About the RoleWe are looking for a versatile professional to handle both client development and order execution for our domestic business. The role combines generating and managing relationships with Indian buyers with coordinating their orders end-to-end across sampling and production making you the single point of contact from first inquiry to final delivery.Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business with domestic buyers, wholesalers, retailers, and brands across India.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Present the companys product range and negotiate pricing and order terms.
• Prepare costing for client products and finalize orders.
• Coordinate with the sampling team to develop and approve samples as per client requirements.
• Coordinate with the production team to track order progress and ensure on-time delivery.
• Follow up on order status, raw material sourcing, and dispatch.
• Maintain proper records of clients, orders, costings, and payments.
• Resolve client queries and after-sales issues in coordination with relevant teams.
• Achieve sales targets and report progress to management.Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience in garment sales or merchandising.
• Working knowledge of garments, fabrics, and trims.
• Good communication skills in Hindi (English is a plus, but not mandatory).
• Strong negotiation, costing, and coordination skills.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office / mobile-based work tools.
• Self-driven, organized, and able to multitask under deadlines.
• Willingness to travel locally for client meetings if required.Preferred
• Existing network of domestic garment buyers or retailers.
