We are looking for a passionate backend developer to join our team at Cliktalk, a cutting-edge communication platform developed by ConnexHive Technologies Private Limited. As a backend developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side of our application, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Laravel and PHP
Design, build, test, and optimize RESTful APIs for mobile and web applications
Create and manage database structures using MySQL and optimize queries for performance and scalability
Develop CRUD modules, business workflows, and admin panel functionalities
Implement and maintain API authentication, authorization, and security best practices
Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, SMS providers, push notifications, analytics, and social login platforms
Assist in building and supporting real-time communication features including chat, messaging, notifications, and calling services
Collaborate with Flutter developers to ensure seamless API integration and application performance
Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and deployment activities
Work with Git/Bitbucket repositories and follow version control best practices

Other requirements
Candidates with hands-on experience in Laravel projects, either academic, freelance, internship, or personal projects, will be preferred
Strong understanding of REST APIs, database design, authentication, and application security
Experience with third-party integrations such as payment gateways, SMS services, social login, push notifications, analytics, or communication APIs is a plus
Familiarity with real-time features such as chat, messaging, notifications, WebSockets, WebRTC, Firebase, Agora, or Twilio will be an advantage
Candidates should be comfortable using Git/Bitbucket and following collaborative development workflows
Knowledge of MySQL optimization, indexing, caching, and performance tuning is preferred
A GitHub profile or portfolio demonstrating Laravel projects and API development experience is mandatory
Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently are highly valued
Candidates interested in building scalable social networking, messaging, and communication platforms will have an added advantage
