Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Azure Migration & DevOps Consultant to independently drive end-to-end cloud migration, infrastructure engineering, and DevOps automation initiatives. The role involves leading design discussions, managing complex Azure environments, coordinating with multiple teams, and ensuring successful delivery of secure, scalable, and compliant Azure platforms.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring strong expertise in Azure Infrastructure, Azure Migrate, Terraform, Azure DevOps, AKS, networking, and cloud governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure compute, storage, networking, VMs, VMSS, Load Balancers, NSGs, Firewalls, Route Tables, Private DNS.
- Expertise in Azure Landing Zone build-out, configuration, and validation.
- Hands-on experience deploying and integrating applications with Azure SDK services such as Key Vault, Storage, and Service Bus.
- Proven experience migrating workloads from on-premises or AWS to Azure.
- Practical experience with Azure Migrate, including discovery, dependency assessment, replication, and cutover activities.
- Experience onboarding, configuring, and utilizing cloud migration tools, frameworks, and migration playbooks.
- Ability to lead end-to-end migration phases independently.
- Proficiency in containerization using Docker, including image creation, optimization, and registry management.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), for deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes core concepts such as pods, deployments, services, ingress, config maps, secrets, and autoscaling.
