VPJ & Associates is a growing Chartered Accountancy firm providing audit, taxation, compliance, and advisory services to startups, SMEs, and established businesses across various industries. Position Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Executive with hands-on experience in statutory audits. The ideal candidate should be a Qualified CA or CA Dropout with at least 1 year of relevant audit experience and a strong understanding of accounting and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Execute statutory audits for companies, LLPs, and other entities. Conduct audit procedures, testing, and documentation in accordance with applicable standards. Review financial statements and identify accounting or compliance issues. Assist in preparation of audit reports, management letters, and audit deliverables. Verify internal controls and recommend process improvements. Coordinate with clients for collection of information and resolution of audit queries. Support assignments involving tax audits, limited reviews, and other assurance engagements as required. Ensure timely completion of audit engagements while maintaining quality standards.
Eligibility Criteria Good understanding of accounting standards, auditing standards, and Companies Act provisions. Working knowledge of Tally, Excel, and accounting systems. Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to independently handle client interactions and audit assignments.
Preferred Skills Experience in handling audits of startups, SMEs, and private limited companies. Proficiency in MS Excel, including data analysis and reconciliations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple assignments.
