JSW Inspire Institute of Sport is looking for Athlete Managers to join their team in Delhi.
Role SummaryThe Athlete Manager is responsible for managing and supporting a portfolio of athletes across their professional, commercial, and personal development journeys. The role serves as the primary point of contact for athletes, ensuring seamless coordination of training, competitions, sponsorship commitments, media engagements, and welfare requirements while maximizing the athlete's performance and career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Athlete Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned athletes
- Develop a thorough understanding of each athlete's performance goals, career aspirations, and personal requirements
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with athletes, coaches, support staff, and families where relevant
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to athletes on professional and personal mattersPerformance & Operations Coordination
- Coordinate competition schedules, travel, accommodation, logistics, and training requirements
- Liaise with coaches, high-performance teams, medical staff, nutritionists, psychologists, and other support personnel
- Monitor athlete progress and ensure timely resolution of operational challenges
- Support athletes in achieving short-term and long-term performance objectiveCommercial & Brand Management
- Coordinate athlete sponsorship obligations, endorsements, appearances, and brand commitments
- Ensure athletes fulfill contractual obligations with sponsors and partner
- Work closely with the commercial team to identify and execute revenue-generating opportunities
- Support athletes in building and enhancing their personal branMedia & Communication
- Coordinate media interviews, public appearances, speaking engagements, and content opportunities
- Assist athletes in managing public image and stakeholder interaction
- Work with communications teams to maximize athlete visibility and engagementAthlete Welfare & Development
- Act as an advocate for athlete well-being and holistic development
- Support athletes with career planning, education, financial awareness, and transition planning
- Identify and address athlete concerns proactivel
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and professional environment for athletesStakeholder Management
- Maintain effective relationships with sports federations, leagues, teams, sponsors, agents, and other stakeholders
