Boeing Global Services (BGS) Engineering team, P-8 Sustainment program, is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team leading the way in Integrated Health Management Systems (IHMS) in Tukwila, Washington. Our engineers work in a highly dynamic environment collecting data, analyzing data and making actionable recommendations to enable critical product improvements and support decisions.
Position Responsibilities:
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions
Evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces
Performs analysis to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture
Performs analysis for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialty quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success
Supports the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
3+ years of experience in a technical or engineering field
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
