Associate Professor (Communication Area)The Associate Professor in the Communication Area will provide academic leadership in teaching, research, and curriculum development in areas such as Business Communication, Corporate Communication, Organizational Communication, Strategic Communication, Digital Communication, Media Studies, and Professional Communication. The role includes teaching undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses; mentoring students and research scholars; supervising dissertations and projects; and contributing to curriculum innovation.The incumbent is expected to undertake high-quality research, publish in reputed journals, secure research grants and consultancy projects, and establish collaborations with industry and academic institutions. The Associate Professor will actively contribute to accreditation, quality assurance, faculty development, academic administration, and institutional growth while promoting innovative teaching practices and effective communication skills aligned with contemporary business and organizational needs.Essential Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Communication, Business Communication, Mass Communication, Organizational Communication, Management, or a closely related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM or Master`s degree in Communication, Management, Journalism & Mass Communication, or a relevant specialization.
- Qualifications and experience as prescribed by UGC/AICTE and university regulations for the post of Associate Professor.Key Competencies:
- Strong teaching, research, and publication record in Communication and allied areas.
- Expertise in business, corporate, organizational, and digital communication.
- Experience in curriculum development, faculty mentoring, and academic leadership.
- Ability to secure research funding, undertake consultancy assignments, and foster industry collaborations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills with a commitment to academic excellence and institutional development.
