Associate CAD Designer

About the job

Key Responsibilities

1. Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of automotive components, sheet metal parts, press tools, fixtures, and assemblies using CAD software.

1. Prepare manufacturing drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, and technical notes.

1. Develop and modify designs based on customer requirements, engineering changes, and production feedback.

1. Generate laser cutting, CNC machining, and fabrication drawings for manufacturing.

1. Coordinate with production, quality, tool room, and design teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.

1. Maintain drawing revisions, engineering change records, and design documentation.

1. Support new product development, prototyping, and sample preparation activities.

1. Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.

1. Conduct design reviews and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

1. Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) and product data records.

1. Assist in resolving design-related issues during production and assembly.

1. Archive and organize CAD files, drawings, and project documentation for future reference.
