This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Advocate located in Chennai. The Associate Advocate will assist in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, appearing in court hearings, and liaising with clients, and also supervise juniors in these tasks to ensure quality control. Daily responsibilities include analyzing case laws, preparing pleadings, and supporting senior advocates through detailed briefings and case preparations. The Associate is being recruited also to fulfill a managerial role, besides undertaking business development, for which separate financial incentives would be provided. Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of legal research methodologies and analytical skills
- Experience in drafting legal documents such as petitions, affidavits, and agreements
- Effective communication and client management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases effectively
- Effective managerial capability and self- driven ambition
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Understanding of procedural and substantive law and court processes
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) and enrollment with the Bar Council
- Prior experience in litigation, corporate law, or legal advisory services is a plus
