Location: Goa, IndiaReports To: Restaurant General Manager
- Assist the Restaurant General Manager in running daily restaurant operations and ensuring smooth service during shifts.
- Supervise service staff on the floor, ensuring orders are taken correctly and guests are attended to promptly.
- Monitor table service, order punching, and coordination with the kitchen to maintain quick turnaround times.
- Support staff training and ensure adherence to service standards and SOPs.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve basic complaints on the floor.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper setup of dining areas and service stations.
- Assist with stock monitoring for service items such as cutlery, crockery, beverages, and takeaway supplies.
- Use POS systems for order management and basic sales tracking.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Step in to manage floor operations when the Restaurant General Manager is unavailable.
Qualifications
- 24 years of experience in restaurant service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or captain role.
- Experience in quick dining, casual dining, or high-volume restaurant operations preferred.
- Strong understanding of floor operations, guest handling, and service coordination.
- Basic familiarity with POS systems.
- Good communication skills and ability to manage service teams during busy shifts.
- Hospitality degree is an advantage but not mandatory.
