The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching Pharm.D students, conducting clinical and academic activities, guiding student projects, participating in research, and supporting the overall academic and professional development of students. The role requires a strong commitment to teaching excellence, patient care, clinical pharmacy practice, and institutional growth.Key Responsibilities
- Deliver theory, practical, and clinical teaching sessions for Pharm.D students.
- Guide students during hospital postings, ward rounds, and clinical training activities.
- Participate in patient counseling, medication review, pharmacovigilance, and drug information services.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and examination papers.
- Conduct and evaluate internal assessments, practical examinations, and project work.
- Mentor students in academic, clinical, and research activities.
- Participate in curriculum development, accreditation, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in reputed journals.
- Organize seminars, workshops, continuing education programs, and academic activities.
- Participate in departmental, institutional, and university-related activities and committees.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, and documentation as per institutional requirements.Qualifications & ExperienceEssential Qualification
- Pharm.D from a PCI-recognized institution.
- Registration as a Pharmacist with the respective State Pharmacy Council.
- Good academic record throughout the educational career.Desirable Qualification
- Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate) or higher qualifications in relevant specialties.
- Teaching, hospital, clinical pharmacy, or research experience preferred.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals will be an added advantage.Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice.
- Understanding of pharmacotherapy, patient counseling, and medication management.
- Effective teaching, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to guide students during clinical rotations and hospital training.
- Research aptitude and academic writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and healthcare communication.SalaryAs per PCI/Institutional norms and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
