Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities1. Teaching & Academic Delivery
- Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in commerce (e.g., Accounting, Financial Management, Cost Accounting, Taxation, Auditing, Business Laws)
- Prepare lesson plans, lecture materials, and course content.
- Conduct lectures, seminars, tutorials, and practical sessions.
- Use innovative pedagogy in line with NEP 2020 policy and emerging technology to enhance learning experience among students.2. Student Engagement & Mentorship
- Guide and mentor students in academic and career development.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Provide feedback and support to improve student outcomes.3. Research & Publications
- Conduct research in commerce or related fields.
- Publish research papers in reputed journals.
- Participate in conferences, seminars, and workshops.
- Apply for research grants and funded projects (if applicable).4. Curriculum Development
- Contribute to syllabus design and curriculum updates
- Align course content with professional courses, industry trends and academic standards.
- Develop new courses or programs where required.5. Administrative & Institutional Responsibilities
- Participate in departmental meetings and academic committees.
- Assist in organizing academic events, workshops, and seminars.
- Support Program Head in overall academic process execution.
- Maintain academic records and documentation.6. Industry & Community Engagement
- Build connections with industry professionals for guest lectures and internships.
- Support placement activities and career guidance programs.
- Engage in outreach and extension activities. Qualifications & EligibilityEducation
- Ph.D. in Commerce or related field (preferred /mandatory as per institution), Masters degree in Commerce (M.COM)
- NET/SET qualification (as per UGC norms)
- Having Professional Qualification like CA, CMA, CA (inter), CMA (Inter), LLB and industry experience will be an added advantage.Experience
- 05 years for entry-level roles (freshers with NET/PhD can apply)
- Prior teaching or research experience is an advantage
