Key Responsibilities
- Deliver theory and practical classes in the relevant discipline.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and academic assessments.
- Guide students in practical, laboratory, field, and project work.
- Conduct and publish research in the relevant field of specialization.
- Participate in extension activities, farmer outreach programs, workshops, and training programs.
- Mentor students and support their academic and professional development.
- Assist in curriculum development, accreditation activities, and academic administration.
- Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, conferences, and institutional committees.
- Maintain academic records and comply with institutional policies and regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors and masters Degree (M.Sc. Agriculture) in relevant discipline with Minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in the postgraduate degree.
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline will be preferred.
- ASRB-NET qualification will be preferred as per institutional norms.
- Prior teaching, research, or extension experience will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong subject knowledge in the relevant agricultural discipline.
- Effective teaching, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct research and publish scholarly work.
- Knowledge of modern agricultural practices and technologies.
