- Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate closely with project managers to develop detailed project plans covering civil engineering scopes including site preparation, foundation works, structural works, and finishing. Ensure timelines, cost estimates, and resource allocation are optimized for efficient project delivery.
- Design Review and Technical Inputs: Review and validate civil engineering designs, drawings, and specifications ensuring compliance with industry standards and Adani’s quality requirements. Provide technical inputs to design teams to enhance constructability and durability of infrastructure.
- Construction Supervision and Quality Control: Lead on-site construction supervision activities, ensuring all civil works are executed as per approved designs, adhering strictly to quality standards and specifications. Implement rigorous quality control procedures and conduct inspections to detect and rectify any deviations.
- Vendor and Contractor Management: Coordinate and oversee civil contractors and vendors on-site to ensure adherence to project schedules, quality benchmarks, safety regulations, and contractual obligations. Facilitate regular progress reviews and resolve technical disputes effectively.
- Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Champion adherence to Adani’s health, safety, and environmental policies on all project sites. Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and promote a culture of zero accidents and environmental stewardship among team members and contractors.
- Cost Control and Resource Management: Monitor civil works expenditure against budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or safety. Optimize utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment for maximum efficiency.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of construction activities, inspection reports, quality checks, and compliance certifications. Prepare periodic progress reports and technical documentation for project stakeholders and senior management.
