Team members work in a dynamic, technology-driven environment with opportunities to contribute to impactful digital projects.Role Description The Assistant Accountant will support the finance and accounting team with day-to-day bookkeeping, financial record maintenance, and reconciliation activities. This full-time, on-site role is based in Mumbai and involves processing vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, payments, and receipts in accordance with company policies. The role includes assisting in preparing journal entries, updating ledgers, performing bank and account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate documentation for audits and compliance. The Assistant Accountant will help prepare basic financial reports, track expenses, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. The individual will collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies, ensure timely data entry, and uphold confidentiality and data integrity.Qualifications
- Strong foundation in basic accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and solid skills in MS Excel (formulas, spreadsheets, data entry).
- Ability to process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately, with strong attention to detail and compliance with policies.
- Good analytical and numerical skills to review transactions, identify discrepancies, and support financial reporting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial and business information.
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; relevant internships or 02 years of experience in an accounting or finance support role preferred.
- Familiarity with GST, TDS, and basic Indian tax and compliance requirements is an advantage.
- Interest in working in a technology-focused and digital services environment, with willingness to learn and adapt.
