The IN Devices marketing team is seeking a customer obsessed Art Director who will drive the creative vision and visual identity for marketing campaigns and product launches across Devices Retail ecosystem. The role bridges conceptual storytelling with customer-focused design, balancing big-picture strategy with execution across digital, print, and physical media. The role functions as the creative operational backbone of the organization, working with agencies and a team of freelancers, leading creative alignment with cross functional teams. The Art Director is responsible for ensuring consistent brand comms and seamless execution across a complex IN Devices retail landscape covering online A.in retail, Quick Commerce partners, and offline stores like Retail outlets, and general trade stores.
The incumbent will build new or extend and scale existing creative direction for all new product launches and deals events (like Prime Day, Independence Day and Diwali Sales, as well as category specific shopping events). They also own the on-brand conception, development and production of other Marketing and brand campaigns for Devices brands (RTB/benefit led communication, topical marketing integration e.g. IPL, gifting, etc.). They balance global brand guidelines with regional needs (India nuances) and are expected to connect their output to broader organizational strategy. They will partner with marketing teams to identify and tap into opportunities to enhance customer experience through impactful story-telling across channels. They will also work closely with Creative teams across Intl. (EMEA, Brazil, APAC) on international campaign and event activations and scaling opportunities (incl. AI). The ideal candidate must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically, showcase high customer obsession, and consistently demonstrate judgment to define and defend creative strategy. They would be collaborative, resilient and thoughtful, an effective communicator, capable of handling multiple projects at once.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead visual concept development, campaign design across business inflection points (product launches, events, other Marketing and brand activations) for Echo, FireTV, Kindle, across the Devices retail ecosystem (Amazon, Quick Commerce, Retail Stores). Ensure global brand (message and tone) consistency across customer touchpoints.
- Independently manage, plan, coordinate and execute creative workflows by working with cross-functional stakeholders – internal Devices teams, IN teams and international teams.
- Partner closely with cross functional teams like Marketing, GTM, and International Creatives to build scalable and cohesive creative processes and solutions.
- Plan work allocation with given resources, set processes like design automation, and establish design request & delivery process flow with stakeholders.
