Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architectural Drafter role based in Chennai. The Architectural Drafter will prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings based on design concepts, sketches, and specifications provided by architects and engineers. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing plans, elevations, and sections; updating drawings as per design revisions; and ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with relevant standards. The role involves coordinating with project managers, site teams, and consultants to incorporate technical requirements and site conditions into drawings. The Architectural Drafter will also assist in quantity take-offs, document control, and maintaining organized drawing records throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications

• Strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings, with the ability to produce clear, detailed, and executable plans.
• Foundational knowledge of Architecture and Planning concepts, including space planning, building codes, and functional layouts.
• Proficiency in technical Drawing, including scaling, dimensioning, and annotation according to industry standards.
• Hands-on experience with CAD or BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with 2D and 3D drafting tools.
• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional project teams.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple drawing packages under deadlines.
• Experience in interior fit-out or civil contracting projects in an on-site environment is an advantage.
