Role OverviewWe are seeking a remote Architectural Designer with 3 to 6 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years of dedicated Revit/BIM expertise. This role focuses on production-heavy Revit modeling and construction documentation for US-based projects. The ideal candidate must have a strong grasp of Type III and Type V construction and a foundational understanding of US building codes.Key Responsibilities
- Revit Production: Develop and maintain accurate, high-quality BIM models, construction drawings, details, and documentation sets using Revit.
- CD Coordination: Translate design concepts into comprehensive construction documents (plans, sections, elevations, and construction details).
- Redlines & Revisions: Efficiently incorporate redlines and feedback from project managers and clients while maintaining tight model standards.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate design data with internal teams and external engineering partners using digital communication and BIM coordination tools.Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 36 years of experience in the architectural industry, with at least 3 years of heavy Revit experience (model setup, family creation, and documentation).
- US Project Experience: Proven experience working on US-based projects is strictly required.
- Construction Typology: Direct, hands-on experience with Type III (protected wood-frame/mid-rise) and/or Type V (wood-frame/residential) construction methods.
- Codes & Compliance: A solid basic understanding of the International Building Code (IBC) and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) regulations.
- Remote Work Habits: Strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to hit deadlines independently in a fully remote environment.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Architecture or equivalent professional experience in the AEC industry.
