Application Engineer

You will be a part of the Project quotation team located in FCEC, Chennai and will be responsible for quality and competitive quotations while meeting customer deadlines. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

- Work closely with business managers (for PRV/IND/NG), LBPs to achieve the financial targets.

- Receive requests for quotations, prepare proposals, and submit the quotations back to the LBP/Customer

- Ensure one day turnaround on quotation request and ensure 100% accuracy

- Seek agreement with LBP/Customer on technical details

- Follow up on quotations sent to the LBP/Customer

- Work with business managers (for PRV/IND/NG) for guidance on pricing, negotiations, and other specific details

- Receive purchase orders, screen the order for technical and commercial feasibility

- Ensure 12 hours turnaround for order screening upon receipt of purchase orders

- Cross check with the Interco factories and Order Admin to meet the customer delivery request date

- Build good working relations with LBPs

- Support the achievement of Profit and Loss Goals

- Prepare reporting package in a timely and accurate manner

- Provide management support on all ad-hoc reports and analysis
