As a Software Development Engineer within the Flex Mobile Foundations organization you will contribute to the next generation mobile foundation to power fast, fluid, and interactive experiences on mobile devices worldwide. A day in the life Our team forms the foundation of the Amazon Flex platform, supporting multiple feature teams and enabling hundreds of thousands of delivery partners worldwide. Our emphasis on continuous learning and professional development creates an environment where team members can grow their skills while delivering impactful solutions at scale ### Basic qualifications - 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience - 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team - 5+ years of leading Mobile design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing Android systems with Kotlin and KMP. ### Preferred qualifications - 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
