About the job
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Android developer with strong expertise in Kotlin to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable and high-performance Android applications, integrating RESTful APIs, and working with modern Android architecture components. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and may include mentoring junior developers when required. Experience in healthcare or medical applications and a good understanding of mobile UI/UX principles will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin
- Integrate Android applications with backend services using RESTful APIs
- Build secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile applications
- Participate in application architecture, design discussions, and technical planning
- Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
- Guide and support junior developers as needed
- Maintain technical documentation and development workflows
- Ensure proper deployment and compliance with Google Play Store guidelines
