Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop analog circuits for advanced process nodes, focusing on high-speed transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, PLLs, voltage regulators, and data converters.
- Create and optimize floorplans and perform detailed circuit designs that meet power, performance, area, timing, and yield goals.
- Extract chip parameters and simulate analog behavior models to verify design specifications.
- Develop comprehensive test plans to validate designs against circuit and block microarchitecture specifications, and evaluate test results to ensure functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to report design progress, address performance issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Optimize circuits for power, performance, and area, while minimizing leakage and improving reliability.
- Partner with architecture and layout teams to design circuits that achieve the highest levels of functionality, robustness, and electrical performance.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field with 4+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience, or a PhD with no experience.
- Proven expertise in high-speed analog circuit design, including transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, PLLs, voltage regulators, and data converters.
- Proficiency in using EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, SPICE, and Synopsys for analog circuit design, simulation, and verification.
- Strong understanding of CMOS technologies, circuit simulation, and analog behavior modeling.
- Experience in circuit optimization techniques for power, performance, area, and timing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with equalization techniques and SoC analog layout design checks.
