POSITION OVERVIEW:
AMHS Engineers are responsible for planning, designing, enabling, and supporting the operation of the Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) in collaboration with global vendors. This includes maintaining high system uptime, improving material flow efficiency, and ensuring seamless integration with fab manufacturing operations.
The role requires strong troubleshooting ability, hands-on exposure to automation tools, and close collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and IT teams to enhance productivity and factory performance.
KEY RESPONSIBIITIES:
- AMHS Planning, Design & Integration
- Work with global AMHS vendors to plan, design, and implement AMHS solutions for the fab.
- Contribute to improving AMHS hardware and software performance, including MCS, controllers, OHT/OHB systems, stockers, and sorters.
- Support layout design, standards adoption, and continuous improvement for AMHS deployments.
