Role Description We are hiring our first AI Visibility Strategist to help GeoRankers become one of the most visible and referenced brands in AI search. The unique part of this role is that you will not just market the product - you will actively use GeoRankers itself to analyze, experiment, and improve our visibility across AI engines. You will study how AI systems talk about GeoRankers, what influences those responses, which content gets cited, and how our positioning evolves over time. Then you will turn those insights into content, experiments, and strategies that improve our AI visibility. This is a highly hands on zero to one role and you will work directly with the founder, move quickly, run experiments constantly and help define what AI era marketing actually looks like.
Responsibilities
- Use GeoRankers to analyze and improve our own AI visibility across platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode, and Perplexity
- Identify visibility gaps, citation opportunities, positioning issues, and competitor patterns using platform insights
- Develop and execute content strategies designed specifically for AI search visibility
- Create and publish high quality content across blogs, LinkedIn, Reddit, communities, and other channels AI systems actively pull from
- Track how AI engines describe GeoRankers over time and identify what influences those changes
- Run experiments around entity building, citations, structured content, distribution, and source influence
- Collaborate directly with the founder on messaging, positioning, and category creation
- Translate platform insights into actionable growth and visibility strategies
- Stay deeply updated on changes in AI search, retrieval systems, LLM behavior, and digital discovery trends
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience in SEO, content marketing, growth, or organic acquisition
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Deep curiosity about AI search and how LLM driven discovery works
- Comfortable experimenting independently and learning through iteration
