The role of an AI Research Scientist is both strategic and hands-on, blending deep technical expertise with creative problem-solving. In this position, you will lead the exploration and application of advanced artificial intelligence methodologies, focusing on pushing the boundaries of what is possible with data-driven insights. Your background in engineering or science, complemented by a decade or more of experience, will enable you to devise and execute research agendas that align with organizational goals.
You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to conceptualize, prototype, and scale AI solutions tailored to complex, real-world challenges. This includes formulating research hypotheses, designing experimental frameworks, and validating innovative algorithms across domains such as Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning. AI Research Scientists are expected to stay abreast of emerging trends, contribute to scholarly publications, and translate theoretical advances into practical business impact.
Demonstrating strong communication skills, you will effectively articulate research outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your role will also involve mentoring junior researchers, fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity, and ensuring rigor in all research activities. What are we looking for? To excel in this role, an AI Research Scientist should possess a strong combination of technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills, including:
Expertise in Data Analytics with a focus on unstructured data
Proficiency in one or more of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, Language Models
Advanced knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques
