Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include

1. Build and integrate LLM-powered features such as prompting, retrieval, structured outputs, evaluation.

1. Work on inference: optimize latency, throughput, and cost; experiment with batching, caching, and model selection.

1. Design and maintain data and model pipelines that are reliable, observable, and reproducible.

1. Build internal Windows desktop apps with Flutter that put these AI tools in researchers' hands.

1. Identify performance improvements across the stack and prove them with engineering numbers.
