Job Summary

In depth knowledge in Windows Server 2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2012R2, 2019 and 2022 In depth knowledge in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs and file services Responsible for troubleshooting OS & server hardware related issues by coordinating with Datacenter engineers. Identify issues is Windows environment proactively. Troubleshooting and break-fix of issues in Windows Health check of Windows environment Responsible for applying security patches to windows servers using Altiris, WSUS & SCCM tools Responsible for building & hardening windows servers Analyses server logs & provide root cause analysis during Major incidents Manage & maintain permissions on File servers & NAS shares Provide VMware support including incident and work requests within the virtualization infrastructure spanning multiple data centers, across multiple VMWare ESX environments Configure and optimize the virtual infrastructure Working with change tools to maintain client SLAs Monitor virtualization infrastructure and provide advice on capacity requirements Provide security compliance under relevant security policies Proactively managing the environment to prevent incidents from occurring Proactively identify inefficiencies in operations with the objective of improving the quality of the working environment Requirements: Experience and demonstrated skills in systems administration which includes; 24x7 operations, Virtualization environments (VMware) across multiple VMWare ESX environments, and Multiple data centers
