The Accountant will handle daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, preparing budgets, and monitoring financial transactions. The role also involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and collaborating with the finance team to optimize financial processes. This position requires close attention to detail and accurate bookkeeping skills.Furthermore will have to also: • Analyze financial data to identify trends and insights• Maintain and organize financial records and spreadsheets• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking QualificationsProficiency in accounting practices including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and auditingStrong financial reporting and budgeting skillsKnowledge of accounting software like Tally, QuickBooks, or similar toolsExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with financial compliance and taxation lawsStrong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate financial recordsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications like CPA or CA preferredExperience in managing retail, fashion, or luxury brand finances is a plusEffective communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
