JOB SUMMARYWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Account Manager to manage day-to-day bookkeeping, end-to-end accounting operations, and GST compliance, including export-related GST processes. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, coordinating with auditors and GST consultants, and independently handling GST returns and export refund processes. The candidate will be responsible for GST compliance for exports under LUT as well as exports with IGST payment and refund claims, including accurate invoice creation, shipping bill reconciliation, and IGST refund tracking. Proficiency in Zoho Books and/or Tally isrequired. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1] Accounting & Financial Operations
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including recording transactions, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Handle end-to-end accounting operations across Purchase, Operations, Billing, Accounts, and Sales
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements
- Perform customer, vendor, and bank reconciliations and ensure ledger accuracy
- Prepare AR/AP ageing reports and manage collections and vendor payment cycles
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closures, including provisions and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Provide management with monthly P&L and cash flow reports, liquidity analysis, and fund forecasts
- Prepare MIS reports, including Sales & Purchase reports and periodic management dashboards
- Support budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis
2] GST, Taxation & Export Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B
- Perform ITC reconciliation between books, GSTR-2B, and GST portal data
- Manage GST compliance for exports under LUT
- Handle exports with IGST payment and refund claims
- Create and validate GST-compliant export invoices
- Reconcile export invoices with shipping bills and ICEGATE data
- Track, claim, and follow up on IGST refunds, including responding to deficiency memos
- Maintain GST documentation for audits and statutory reviews
- Ensure accurate calculation and timely payment of GST and TDS liabilities
3] Stakeholder Coordination
- Actively coordinate with statutory auditors, GST consultants, banks, and other service providers
