We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and support of advanced electronic systems from concept through production. As part of the R&D team in Saskatoon, SK, you will contribute to the development of ground‑fault detection devices and protective relay technologies used for personal and equipment protection—such as ground‑fault relays, ground‑fault circuit interrupters (GFCIs), and other safety‑critical electronic systems. This role requires deep technical expertise in mixed‑signal design, strong analytical capability, and the ability to collaborate across firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronic circuits for new and existing products.
- Create detailed circuit schematics and perform simulations to validate performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Own critical technical decisions related to architecture, component selection, and system-level design tradeoffs.
- Oversee PCB layout activities with a focus on signal integrity, power distribution, EMC, thermal considerations, and manufacturability.
- Review PCB designs for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to best practices.
- Evaluate and select electronic components based on performance, availability, lifecycle, and cost considerations.
