The Service Technician for Cytiva is responsible installing, servicing repairing and performing preventative maintenance on our products.
This position reports to the Manager, Service Technicians and is part of the Aseptic Filling Division located in Burnaby, BC, Canada and will be an on-site role.
What you will do:
- Perform onsite services including installation, training, maintenance, troubleshooting to resolve problems both remotely and onsite, debug and commission systems at customer sites, with requirement to travel up to 50% of work time
- Represent Cytiva by being an ambassador and demonstrate a high attention to detail in performing work
- Use the service tracking system to provide clear documentation of activities at customer sites. participate in creating and updating service documentation, complete standard testing procedures during each machine’s commissioning phase
Who you are:
- A self-starter with a post-secondary engineering degree, diploma, certification or equivalent; specializing in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics, with problem solving skills in the preceding areas, able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
