Job Description:
Working alongside the business, The Associate Vice President, Performance Management & Strategy leads enterprise-grade performance management and strategic decision support for TDI. The role leads TDI's strategy development and enables senior leadership and the Board to make informed, data-driven decisions on growth, capital allocation, and transformation priorities.
Performance Management
Operates a challenge function effectively reviewing business performance against enterprise targets.
Directs fact based, transparent discussions with leaders and P&L owners that result in concrete actions and accountability and enable TDI to link its strategy to execution
Leverages knowledge of industry benchmarks to identify optimization levers

Collaborates with TDI Senior Leadership to lead development of TDI strategic plans and medium-term outlook
Shapes TDI's medium to long term strategic plan, capitalizing on untapped areas
Works closely with Enterprise Strategy team, supports the preparation of materials used in Board and Senior Executive Team meetings.
Brings external market insights and competitor benchmarking into decision-making
- Reporting & Presentation Materials
Synthesizes available data and insights into compelling materials that tell TDI's story succinctly and effectively to multiple audiences.
Translates complex analysis into clear, decision-oriented executive communication
Drives productivity metrics, aligned to the market and identifying room for optimization, digitization and other opportunities to drive TDI's AI, Digital and Productivity agendas.
Skills, Education & Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of General and/or Life Insurance industry experience
Proven experience working with senior executives and Board-level stakeholders
P&L management expertise with strong financial acumen
Strong analytic capability to quantitatively assess opportunity, risk and not afraid to challenge the status quo
Has deep understanding and knowledge of the entirety of TDI's operations, P&L, products and strategic levers
Strong understanding of AI, digital, and data-driven decisioning
Exceptional interpersonal skills, including team‐work, facilitation and negotiation
Strong leadership skills; Ability to influence at all levels
Forward-looking, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills
