We are looking for a hands-on production reporting & shopfloor operations intern who will be present on the factory floor and help create better visibility into daily production activities. The intern will be responsible for observing, recording, and reporting what is happening across different jobs, machines, workers, and production processes during the day. This is not a desk-only internship. The role requires regular movement across the production floor, interaction with supervisors and workers, and daily Excel-based reporting. The objective of this internship is to support better production tracking, improve reporting discipline, identify recurring delays, and assist management in understanding actual shopfloor performance. 1. Be present on the production floor during working hours and track day-to-day manufacturing activities. 2. Record job-wise production progress across different machines and processes, including daily machine usage, idle time, rework, delays, manpower deployment, etc. 3. Coordinate with production supervisors, machine operators, and office staff for daily updates. 4. Prepare end-of-day production summaries for management review. 5. Help document basic production workflows, process steps, and SOP points. 6. Support data collection for production planning, efficiency improvement, and shopfloor accountability. 7. Assist in creating simple MIS reports, dashboards, and weekly production summaries.
