A. Ideation and strategy: 1. Work directly with founders and senior leadership to define product vision, goals, and user experience direction 2. Translate business requirements into product concepts with clear user journeys and flows 3. Conduct competitor and user research to ground design decisions in real insight B. UX and UI design: 1. Design wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes 2. Build and maintain a design system that ensures consistency across all product surfaces 3. Design for multiple touchpoints including web, mobile, and in-store interfaces where applicable 4. Use AI design tools to accelerate concept generation, layout iteration, and visual exploration C. Product scoping and documentation: 1. Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature scoping documents that developers can directly act on 2. Define and document edge cases, error states, and interaction details for every feature 3. Maintain a living product backlog and prioritise features in collaboration with leadership 4. Create annotated design files that remove ambiguity for the development team D. Development collaboration and QA: 1. Act as the primary design point of contact for developers throughout the build cycle 2. Run QA reviews at every sprint checkpoint to verify the product matches design intent 3. Log, track, and follow through on design and UX issues until they are resolved 4. Ensure the product ships with the user experience intact, not just the functionality
